Frequently asked questions about MINTS

1.     Can I be a student even if I don't have any theological background, I'm a new Christian?

Yes. Depending on your educational level you may need to enter a certificate program at first but upon completion these can be counted toward your degree.

2.     What do you recommend me to do? What program?

Email us and tell us about your situation, goals, hopes and desires so we can advise you.

3.     Do you have scholarship?

We have discounts. Tell us your circumstances and apply for discounts.

4.     Do you have veteran's benefits for scholarship?

Not at this time.

5.     Can I get federal help after I complete FAFSA and prove that I am a student with no income? No, we do not have the required status for government aid.

6.     Can I go to Miami (from foreign countries) and enroll in your program, but I need financial aid?

We do not accept non-US students to study in Miami as it is counter to our philosophy of education. We work to train you in your language and culture. See MINTS philosophy.

7.     Do you help to get VISAS for international students?

No, see 6 above.

8.     I have studied several bible courses in my church; can I get any convalidation for that?

Possibly. We will need all the details and there will be more work to be done.

9.     How much is the cost of the program?

It varies on program and location. See the catalog.

10.  How long do you think it will take me to complete the program?

As with most programs it typically takes 4 years for a BA, and 2 for a MA.

We have a part-time program in Miami.

12.  Can I go and visit your building?
